The way light and shadows interact, the vibrant green colours, and the composition all came together nicely. You put in a great effort! Good luck!

Congratulations on your first milestone post! And what a lovely shot you've posted!
Beautifully focused with good depth of field, showing excellent detail throughout.
Spot on exposure giving lovely natural colours and a nice composition - I really like the close crop, it works very well.
Good luck in the contest.

Clear case of less is more, such a simple subject but one that was worth taking and clearly shows that if you keep your eyes open you can see a photo anywhere, effective one is this and a good pattern shot as well....Brian

This is surely a well-fitted entry for this Something Green Contest. A simple and neat arrangement. You've place these leaves in the frame well, too. Colors are natural and the patterns are prominent. The landscape orientation is just right for your green leaves. Wish you luck in the contest.

Cool!
Ferns like this are one of the very oldest forms of terrestrial plant life!
Your nicely-presented picture of these fronds is very enjoyable to look at!
