Hi Soulfeeder, What an awesome shot! I've never seen a Roseate Spoonbill and had no idea they had blue tones on their head. Your image is well focused with great lighting. Love the pink tone of the feathers. Great timing as you not only captured a great shot of the spoonbill but his dinner as well! Great entry for the wildlife contest! Good Luck! :o) Nancy

You have indeed pictured this Roseate Spoonbill well, and what makes this photo even better is that the bird has also caught a fish. Also the ripples are well captured in the shiny water, and the bird is standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing works well, and the bird has got a fine placement a bit off to the left. A truly lovely and well taken photo Soulfeeder, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
