This is a skilled capture of the handsome Vader. Just enough snow adorning his face and splattering of snow on his back and side. You also captured his leisurely-eyed face. Best wishes in the contest. I have followed your narratives of Vader. I believe he is gone now regrettably.

This is one photo that I really like, the snow on his face and that pose is awesome. I like how he stands out in the snow. I see also that this is entered in a contest and I wish you the best in it. We have some woods around us but we seldom see any deer, my wife loves to see them, she is always asking people who have some woods if they have deer and some of them say yes, my preacher says that they always have some at their house. Thats why I take her to the State Park so she can see some out in the wild. I really like this shot and thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest. JackJr.

Vader looks so lovely in this photo with the snow on the top of its nose, and I especially like the close and personal approach. I like the background as well, and the buck is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The photo is very sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the animal. The fine textures of the fur is also showing up well, and the exposure and white balance is perfect.
The tall format works so well, and Vader has got a fine placement within the frame. This is a truly lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with a very good DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
