First of all, Welcome fo FanArtReview! Your pencil drawing is a refreshing change, showing the effects of the tornado. I like how you've been able to show this simply without too much intrusive detail. Keep up the good work! Suzanne

Devonte, I have to thank you for all your information about tornadoes. I have seen waters spouts over the ocean and the power they unleash but never a tornado. As far as pproper equipment, the number 2 pencil is choice by many an artist. Very nicely presented. Ray

Wow! What a story to go with your well rendered pencil work. I cannot imagine having lived through such a horrible storm. We had a tornado hover over, a couple years ago over our property. It didn't hit the ground or I probable wouldn't be here to talk abou it. We live in the country and trees were down all around our home and vehicles. Only a corner of our roof was damaged. I was in the basement hearing things crashing above us. It was very scary. I KNOW that I KNOW, our prayers saved our home. It was as though angels laid down the trees around our house.
Thank you for sharing.

Yes, this time! The last big one was in 2011

In Alabama, these tornadoes resulted in more than 200 fatalities, 2000 injuries, and $4.2 billion in property damage. The tornadoes struck Alabama in 3 waves on April 27?starting at 4:01 am, 11:15 am, and 2:40 pm?affecting 35 counties and causing deaths in 19 counties.

    I'm glad, wow omg.

Yes ma'am all these are correct. I think it was more then 4.2 billion dollars in damage because I know Tuscaloosa alone was 2.4 billion dollars. Yes they struck in 3 waves beginning early in the morning around 3 or 4 in the morning (which was crazy because the early morning storms were not even suppose to be bad, these storms produced tornadoes early). While around 2 was suppose to be the main event.

So sorry about the record number of tornadoes. Your shading in pencil is superb. The house drawings are fine as are the fence posts. The proportions in ratio seem a little out and the tree needs some work. Yet it is a fine illustration of most of the drawing and the over-sized tornado. Thanks for sharing such traumatic news and the drawing.

Well drawn to show the tornado there on the right and the way it moves through the town.
These would scare me as I have only seen them in movies or photos.
Well arranged scene to tell this story.
Well presented!

when i hear 2 words i know exactly where this is at...tornados and Joplin..well where else but Joplin Missouri! i transferred there to supervise both Joplin and Springfield, Mo. stores and i saw many a tornados. being i used to live in from Oklahoma to Mississippi im very well practiced of being both f4 and f5 tornados. also we have something else in common. i dont have artist pencils either..alsways the #2 pencil..you did a good job on this work. the details is great. the shading is good. the depth is great. the creation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative approach and great job overall.

In the drawing, a fierce tornado swirls through the town, tossing debris into the air and causing chaos. People must have scrambled for safety as buildings crumbled under the force of the powerful winds, showing the destructive force of nature in action. I like your drawing for its spontaneity, which gives me goosebumps. Well done!
