Always love your robin photos, they are just so sweet looking and remind me of our bluebirds. Really like how you caught this as the one was flying off, as well as the pink flowers and green foliage that frames this pair. Best wishes to you!

Jewell,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this pair if Robins on the Pergola. Our Robins have a very different song compared to your American Robin which sounds like our Thrush or Blackbird (all of them are of the Thrush Family & are twice the sized of our Robin, that is about the same size as a House Sparrow.)

Nice action capture. The blurred background is a nice touch. The colors are really nice, the focus and tone great, overall a really nice presentation, thanks for sharing.

Nice snapshot. I would suggest a slight crop at the top to get rid of the dark strip as it takes away attention from the main subject. Thanks for sharing.

A lovely view of the female Robin, with excellent focus and clarity. Unfortunately the male is not so clear to me. This looks like a difficult shot to capture well. Good luck in the contest though.

I like the way the robins are situated here on the pergola and the way the pink flowers frame the left side with the greenery on the right .
Good timing to stop the action on the male robin as he flys off .
The female seems to be looking for something , perhaps an insect.
Well focused, clear image with good use of the light. This is an interesting entry for this contest.
Well presented! Best wishes to you !

Pat,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this pair of Robins. The male flew off to the left while the female flew around to the front of my house. before returning to the feeder a few minutes later.

Birds make wonderful subjects for photography. They can be both interesting and annoying at the same time. These lovebirds seem to be enjoying the bright day together. You have timed it well. Thanks for sharing!
