I think you would fine it difficult to see love in a pigeons eyes. ? But if it isn't anger, it could be lust. LOL You have anyway pictured the two of them well
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in both birds, and the exposure is very good.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo, and the placement of the birds within the frame. I think it is a sweet and well taken photo Allan, and I wish you luck with the contest.

You have captured this pigeon couple so very well , Allan with spot on focus on both of them., this image is sharp and clear , well defined detail , nice stop action to show this mating ritual , the facial expression on the top one along with those red eyes appears sinister lol

Thanks Pat, I liked your comment on the sinister eyes. That is sort of how I titled this piece. The lady pigeon seems to be taking it all in stride though. Thanks for the high rating, greatly appreciated.
