Darkness
Take a shot that highlights the subject (any subject) by using a dark background. A classic example is a person blowing out candles. The only light in the shot (or the majority of the light) is the candles on the face.
So submit a photograph (edits okay using software) that takes advantage of darkness to highlight your subject. Use of artificial light okay.
Submit a traditional photograph (or Mixed Media Photograph) for this contest. Mixed Media photography is a form of art that uses software to create art from photographs. So start with a traditional photograph (or a collage) and create something different.
The final work of art should be about the topic provided. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
