Ghostly Encounter
The topic for this contest is "Ghostly Encounter". The type is "General" meaning it is open to a variety of different types and styles. There is no specific template to begin with.
You may submit Traditional Artwork (painting, drawing, sculpture), Mixed Media Photography (a form of art that uses software to create art from photographs) or, should you be so lucky, an unedited Photograph of your ghostly sighting.
Is there something lurking under your bed? Is the closet haunted? Did something spooky come out from under a tree? Was the reflection in the window a little frightening? Your encounter may happen indoors, outdoors, in a plane, in a train, or outer space... etc. Neither are there restrictions as to location place or time, however the final work must be about the topic provided.
Entries will be judged first and foremost on how the artist meets the topic, rather than on picture quality and minor flaws, such as an out of focus snapshot or lighting. After all, when a ghostly apparition appears there rarely is time to set up the camera or drawing board, rather, it's point, snap, and run!!!!!
