Evening sky from the Setting Sun
The topic for this Traditional Art contest is: Evening sky from the Setting Sun

AS A SIDE NOTE: Not to discourage you from entering this contest, because that is not my intention at all; however, PLEASE READ THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CAREFULLY and after your submission watch your messages in case I have to contact you if your entry is incorrect and needs fixing and/or replacing. If waiting until the last minute to enter right as the deadline approaches, please make sure you followed the rules of the contest. True mistakes can be made. After all....we are human; however, it would be awful if you won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place with an art that did not meet the criteria of the contest. It just would not be fair to all the others that did.
Create a Traditional Artwork that somehow incorporates the topic. What I am looking for in the art that you are going to submit IS NOT a sun NOR a sunset rather just the colourful spectacle [A visually striking display] of the evening sky that the sun has created as it continues to set.
Because this is one artwork that no artist can truly duplicate, your submission will be of a painting/drawing of the sky red or orange or any amount of other beautiful blends of glowing colours that a sunset produces..... colours that are especially vivid. Your painting/drawing should be not of the sun that is bright yellow but rather of the adjacent sky with its shades of red, orange and yellow. The artwork should clearly be about the topic. Creative approaches are welcomed. AND yes you can have other things within your artwork [tree, beach, mountain, plant, etc] [NO people; NO animals]. Remember, contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
This is for Traditional Artwork (Pen & ink, pencil, watercolors, charcoal, paints, etc.) only. No photography, digital art or any form of artwork that uses a photograph. This art contest is for all forms of art. That includes pen and ink, pencil, watercolors, charcoal, sculpture, computer art and all other forms of art. No photography.
