Before AND After
The topic for this Mixed Media Photography contest is: BEFORE AND AFTER
For this contest you will be submitting two pictures within one. They can be side by side, one on top and the other on the bottom, or any other way you would like to display them both. One photo will contain the picture you took of something....it can be anything you choose. The second photo will contain the picture AFTER you changed it (the first photo) into something else utilizing computer software. It should not be super elaborate. It should not be something that looks so very different that one cannot see that it came from your first photograph. It should contain enough differences yet still when looking at both photos side by side, you will be able to ascertain that, "Hey I can see where he is coming from with this transformation." That when you look at your second photo you will be able to figure out that it did indeed come from that first photo. You should not have to seriously struggle in order to figure it out. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. From your first photo create the second photo. The second photo should have enough changes to make it something different, yet when looking at the first photo, you will be able to see that the second photo DID indeed come from the first. It is up to you if you want to share "how you did it." Both photos should be included in your one submission.
Submit a Mixed Media Photograph for this contest. Mixed Media photography is a form of art that uses software to create art from photographs. So start with a traditional photograph (or a collage) and create something different.
The final work of art should be about the topic provided. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Sunday, May 6, 2018.
