Landscape Art Based on Photos
The topic for this Traditional Art contest is: Landscape Art based on Photos that you have personally taken. , I have just started to really be serious about painting and love Landscapes but why cant you take a photo (which I do lots of) and paint it or draw it or sketch it. So this contest is about taking a photo and re creating it. You do not have to prove to me that you actually took the photo. I will take your word for it.
Create a Traditional Artwork that somehow incorporates the topic. The artwork should clearly be about the topic. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
This is for Traditional Artwork (Pen & ink, pencil, watercolors, charcoal, etc.) only. This art contest is for all forms of art. That includes pen and ink, pencil, watercolors, charcoal, sculpture, computer art and all other forms of art. No photography.
