You can own this. Offers accepted.     Information
Oberon, King of Elf's and other magical forest creatures, is best known from Shakespeare "A Midsummer Night's Dream" but his roots are much farther in history as the 13th century French "Les Prouesses et faitz du noble Huon de Bordeaux" and the German "Nibelungenlied".
In all his appearances he has great magical power. In Shakespeare's play he is fighting with his Queen Titania causing a lot of trouble in nature, the magical kingdom and the human world.
I used four different photos merged on black canvas.
The photos of a bougainvillea and a butterfly were blurred and parts of it placed on black canvas. The portrait of a friend was blurred, cut out and transferred to the black canvas. Snack skin were applied to Oberon and changed to green color. The eyes were hand painted [freehand paintbrush]. A flower leaf from another picture was used for the mouth.
The same flower photo [blurred] was morphed into Oberon's crown. Small Additions of the background [as the butterfly-bird in the left] were applied with freehand paintbrush. The magical flower in front [cover and tool for Oberon] were applied with freehand paintbrush and exchanged with the distortion brush and finished with blurred blossoms from the bougainvillea photo.
The programs used were Paint Shop pro and Digital Imagining 2006.
