I am a retired teacher, and I am currently a substitute teacher. Naturally, teaching and observing children give me a lot of inspirational ideas for my art creations. I first sketched this second grade student seriously studying- her concentration evident in her facial expression, and I transferred my sketch into this digital painting using the "Paint" program on my computer.
This artwork is also one of my earliest efforts using the Paint program on my computer.
