The Tropical Mockingbird is similar to the Northern Mockingbird but has only white bars on the wings not the white patches and shows less white in the tail. The song is softer and more melodic without repetition of phases. The bird lives in a ranch from Veracruz, south of the Isthmus of Thehuantepec [Oaxaca], Mexico to Brazil. The Birds are known for their beautiful dance at meeting time.
