I just took this shot yesterday and loved it just the way it was as "natural".....BUT....I've always enjoyed the glowing edges filter so I thought I'd see what the pine cone and needles looked like if I used the filter. What you're looking at is basically what I saw. Beautiful colors appeared everywhere.

The right side did not have as much color so I traced and copied some needles from the left and pasted them on the right. A little saturation and playing with the exposure made the colors brighter.
I also applied a light touch of embossing to add a little texture.

I thought it was pretty and hope you do too!
