I was planning to do a Nova,but it didn't come out the way I wanted. Since I was in the mood to do something with a Solar theme I did a little paint blending and gave it a swirl. What I created looked like a wave, so I changed the original hue to blue and the idea of "light waves hit me. I wanted this to look like waves rolling into shore, but in solar skies.

With a lot of empty space I added some stars and came up with my solar waves of light among twinkling stars.
