I was thinking of nauture's light shows when I started thisand had no idea where it would take me. Just wanted to see what would happen.

This was created from three inages that were layered Aurora, sunset and rainbow. It all started out with a Tree with lychen spots. I placed the tree in glowing edges and darkened it, then used distortion to smear it. I thought it resembled Northen lights. I knew I'd use it someday. It's been sitting in my files for three years....here it was used as the bottom layer.

I then traced,copied and made a transparent layer of a rainbow.

THe top layer is a sunset shot I took and enhanced the color. I then made it transparent.

When I got the lighting on them right I turned the png into jpg.
