This is a male Cardinal. I love shooting butterfly's. Now the are harder to find. So I made a blind and baited an area, after a few days, I sat in my blind, and discovered you need patience. You don't sneak up, you just sit and wait. Next time I will take a thermos of coffee and wait. This is a fun thing for me to do so it is more fun than work.
I'm using an Olympus E3 camera with an Olympus 140-600mm lens. Shot 250/sec f4.0
