I started with a photo of a peony. First I made the image into a crystal ball. I added the elfs, actually ghosts.. I changed the colors and I made my elfs pink. I found the butterflies and the small crosses in a software program. My biggest problem was to find wings for the elf. I used autumn leaves, changed color and size until they looked like wings. Did the same with the little flower in the other elfs hand. Then added the moon

When I had done all this it was just like something was missing in a kind of empty space. It was then I got the idea with the text:"Elfs in heaven".
I wanted to symbolise the fact the non existence of els on earth, but perhaps you can find them in heaven.
