It was a cold rainy day, I was parked in the car next to a nearby lake where I could see this guy sitting on a post in the middle of the lake. I had the window open with rain coming into the car. I had to move over to keep my camera from getting wet. I watched him through the lens for about 15 minutes, when he decided to fly towards me. I was shooting him all the way in. He landed on the edge of the water about 20 feet from me. I shot a lot of pictures. This is one of them.
