Unless living in a country where it is scarce, we often forget the value of water.
I choose this font because of its natural look and its lightness. The green wording is part of the picture and represent nature, the T being the source of water and evoking also a faucet. The lightness of the font evokes the joy, pleasure and comfort provided by water. The sober look of the wording compare to the dashing look of water may is meant to shock and capture the imagination in a way to convey the idea that water is a natural good that we must cherish and shall not waste or spoil.
I also wanted to explore the graphic possibilities that provides the use of a one corner frame, as an integrated part of the image, in regard to the balance of shapes and colors.
The running water was made beginning with a black and white cloud filter on which I used a lot of other filters, then deformed it with the transformation tool and finally made some adjustments by duplicating the layer. I added some details with the brush, and made some colors adjustments using the brush, curves, levels and other adjustment layers. The splash was made with the brush, adding a lot of layers effects, duplicating some layers and making colors adjustments using a similar process than for the running water.
Reedited 08-01-11 to add volume to the T and adjust slightly the color of the letters and the space between letters and between the wording and the frame.
At the end, from all the preliminary tests I made at the beginning to the little adjustments I made at the end, it finally took me over 24 hours to make it :)
