This Pipevine Swallowtail was diving deep into the heart of a Beach Morning Glory to get the nectar. The Pipevine Swallowtail [Battus philenor] is being found in a large range from southern Canada across the USA and Mexico, on Isla, Maria Guatemala and Costa Rica. The Beach Morning aka Goatâ??s Food [Ipomoea pes-caprae] is a pandemic creeping vine. The salt tolerant plant grows on beaches. Their seats float unaffected in the ocean waters to grow where ever the current brings them.
