What Dreams may come is a 1978 novel by Richard Matheson. The 1998 Movie of the same name [Robin William, Annabella Sciorra, Cuba Gooding Jr.] was based on the novel. Told is the story of Chris who dies and goes to Haven but then went to hell to rescue his wife. Reunited both decide to be reborn to get the only think they cannot get in Haven: Life.
The line What dreams may come originated in Hamlets [Shakespeare] Monologue To Be Or Not To Be: For in that sleep of death what dreams may come / When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, / Must give us pause.
The picture is a collage of eight different photos, separately filtered, converted to black and white or distorted. After assembling the collage in layers, some parts were added with different paintbrushes. Programs used were Photo Explosion, Twisted Brush, ArtRage and Digital Image Suite.
