This is a wild thistle. In the summer I drive around the country roads looking for anything picture worthy! That is a bunch of things. Anytime I see flowers I stop because you see butterfly's. The thistle is a bad plant. It has sharp spines and cattle won't eat it. Farmers hate it, but I think they have a beautiful flower.
