This is a male Mallard duck. Last winter this duck stayed on a local lake. When it froze over he only had a small section of water from an aerator. I went there every day and called him, here ducky ducky & he would swim through the water climb up on the ice and walk to me. I had an ear of corn I would shell off and he really liked it.
