I have no idea what this flower is! I do know it is just a weed! I was sitting on a guard rail watching a great blue heron. I usually have to wait for him to either fly or go in after a fish. I let my eyes wander and I saw this flower next to the guard rail. I just turned and shot a couple of shots and went back to watching the heron. When I down loaded today I saw this beautiful flower. I had my ISO set at 800 and the shutter speed was 1000/sec f5.6 there was a lot of grain so I adjusted the brightness down and adjusted the contrast up and most of the grain went away. Then I used the smudge tool and got rid of the rest. I am using an Olympus E3 camera.
