Stumbled across this fungus in the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens, Adelaide, South Australia. Loved the color and the way the sun was just highlighting it on a cool and overcast day. Didn't know anything about this fungi but with help of internet discovered that Fly Agaric takes sugars from the trees it lives on. In return the trees benefits from the nutrients released by the fungus.
