This painting was created using watercolor on heavily toothed acid free paper. "Struggle of Consumption" is my interpretation of the inward and outward struggle for immortality, the earths inevitible reclaiming of the body and the oneness with the flesh and earth. The water represents rebirth and the vast sky is representitive of the souls freedom from earth.
