This is baby ruby throated humming birds. They hatched July 4 this shot was taken July 23. I was standing on a ladder when I took this. I wanted to get as close as I could to really see some detail. I moved the ladder to the other side to get a different angle. I could see the birds were getting nervous but did my thing anyhow. I was shooting and moving in closer for that one last close-up and they took off like rockets. There is no question about it they flew like pro's. I was sad to see them go. I will post more latter. I am using an Olympus E3 camera with a 12-60mm lens ISO 400 60/sec f8 Hand held on a ladder.
