Just received a Tamron SP AF90mm F/2.8 Macro lens for my birthday - now have to work out how to use it. Had a few attempts but not much to practice on in the garden, found this seedpod about to burst its contents and took several. Seem to have trouble focusing the lens - goes in/out, get focus then it won't let me take photo. I am using autofocus. Frustrating at the moment but will head to camera shop to get advice, hopefully I am missing something very simple.
