These flowers are called Red Hot Pokers (Torch Lily) are nice and bright in mid winter. The flowerhead can reach up to 5 feet in height and originates from South Africa but has been introduced in many countries as a popular garden plant. Once again this was taken at the Botanical Gardens in Adelaide.
