I wanted to put together a calendar featuring some of my favourite pastels and didnâ??t have anything to represent November and December. I decided to do this for November. This has been inspired by the photographer LarsvandeGoorâ??s The Pathless Path. This is the third time I have used his work as inspiration so am a big fan. He is the same photographer who took all the ray pastel studies I have done. How he captures light like it I will never know, his work is amazing, more like paintings than photos.
