This is a Red Bellied Woodpecker. For folks that don't know birds they will say this is a red headed woodpecker. You can see a red head but there is a big difference between the two. This guy has a sunflower seed in his beak. These birds will chip through bark and dead wood looking for insects. They nest in holes they have made in old dead trees. It is important to leave the old dead trees for this and other animals.
I am using an Olympus E3 Camera ISO 400 with a 70-300mm lens 750/sec f6.7
