This is a great blue heron! These are fascinating birds! I love to see them hunt for fish and I love to see them fly! I had been watching this guy for a while as he was sitting on an old stump. There was not many fish that day so he got tired and flew away. I was ready for him as I had set the shutter speed to stop action. I am using an Olympus E3 camera ISO 400 with a 70-300mm lens 1000/sec f9.5
