This is a female ruby throated humming bird. I like the fact that the wings was stopped. I was zoomed in on a humming bird feeder and focused, then moved off and waited for a bird to fly in. I shot just a little to quick as I cut off the tail area. After looking at it I still like the close view and to see the wings stopped in flight. I am using an Olympus E3 Camera ISO 400 external flash with a 70-300mm lens 1500/sec f8 flash was on tripod camera mounted on monopod.
