This is a male Rose Breasted Grosbeak! They fly from Cuba, southern Mexico, central America and northern south America where they spend the winter months, to the central north and north east U.S. and into Canada for the summer. I get to see them for about two weeks in this migration in the spring! They are beautiful birds and I look forward to seeing them each spring! These birds love sunflower seed and they will eat a lot of it as you can see the shell in his beak!
I am using an Olympus E3 camera ISO 400 with a 70/300mm lens 500/sec f5.6
