This is a great blue heron! I was driving along an old road near a local lake and I saw this guy fling in. I pulled over to a boat ramp and stopped. He came flying in an landed not far from where I was sitting. He walked over to this log and started fishing. All I had to do was shoot through the open car window! As you can see this fish is a Crappie! It was late in the afternoon and the light was dim, you can see the fall colors reflecting in the water. I was fortunate to see this and better yet to photograph it. I am using an Olympus E3 camera ISO 400 with a 70/300mm lens 250/sec f5.6
