Sirens are dangerous creatures, who cast spells over sailors with their enchanting music and voices to lead them to their certain death. There seems to be confusion about their looks. While they are land spirits in the oldest Greek writing, later they were described with fishtails or even wings. To farther muddy the waters around the Sirens I added my own version. The sirens were crafted from a single photo of a Mexican Calaca- [skeleton] Doll using layers, filters, cloning, paint brush and color enhancement.
