This is a dragon fly. I have no idea as to what species. I was in the car along side a bunch of wild flowers and small trees and weeds looking for a butterfly. There was several flying around. While I was sitting there waiting for them this guy landed in front of me. This is what I got! The car is a very good place to shoot from as it keeps you relatively hidden.
I am using an Olympus E3 camera ISO 400 with a 70/300mm lens 750/sec f6.3
