So many colors on one bush

Walking through the botanical Gardens in Adelaide we had just visited the health and meditation garden and I spotted this bush with so many varied colors on the chillies. Not sure if this type are edible but found it an interesting plant. Nearly got into strife as to get close I had to step on the border, careful not to tread on other plants, but one of the gardeners came by in his vehicle. Luckily he just nodded and wasn't too cross with me.
