during my library studies at Art College, Gris became my favourite after the initial usual Van Gogh etc. We all have our favourite artist, to me he depics order in art and depth of thinking. I spent a lot of time trying to see how?- especially as our wonderful lecturer Mr Faulkner, spent time to explain the skills involved as well as the emotions of artistry. Would that I had listened to him, he gave me an introduction to do art work for a group for whom he also did a lot of art work, but because of my personal home circumstances, I did not feel confident enough to work for others. I could kick myself now! I would not now have to teach grammar and time tables a million times a week!
