Chesterfield School trip

for 8 years whilst at Uni I taught for this great little school, from Madrid in Sheffield. Met some fantastic people- though I think they found me very quiet at fiestas etc. We went on a day trip to York, for lunch we sat down at a river, and I managed to sketch several places and people. I have decided to put this on, as a girl up the road who is on an art course at Loxley College Sheffield stole my sketch books of loads of my University friends as well as 1000 poems I had brought home with me from America. Well and my holiday money 500- and much more. The police came yesterday and said it is normal for thieves and this area is ridden with the city's thieves, to be utterly cowardly and always pick on lone, elderly people, who have tidy little gardens and houses kept in good order. I live at 66, the teacher couple of 67 have already gone, same reason. Last week I was shouted at: what the hell are you doing here, this is a brown area. -- I taught voluntarily at the African Refugee Centre and lived in Lahore Pakistan teaching there!! When we offer voluntary help of our skills, that is ok then?
