This is supposed to be a fact. I suppose when this article appeared many years ago, many, who were abused as children, gave their drawings a second look. It was then that I realised that the marks artists make, even the thoughtless ones, are not mere decoration, but actually speak and speak loudly to those who know (culture etc) There are however many pitfalls, London Human Research, which was illegally beaming all I did onto their screens, decided my paintings were of underlying sexual frustration-the real reason, I was born by the castle of Bratislava, above the Danube- time and again I painted the Danube and trying to swim across it. We are ethnic Austro/Hungarians, in my view, our tragedy was because we did NOT cross the river back to Hungary or Austria after the Logano agreement of the Allies in 1920. I was describing our family situation and our deportion, not sexuality (as they had read water means.) Most of my paintings were life issues of our family and people, not internal machinations. As most of the lab was Jewish, I am amazed that they could not read enough history to know that, as it was almost identical to their peoples. Reading paintings needs to be in the hands of experts, not the common man who picks up a smattering.
