This is a dragonfly but don't know what species. I must get a book! I was driving around a road close to a lake and there was small catalpa trees growing there. I was looking for anything I could see and this guy flew up and landed right in front of me. I am using an Olympus E3 camera ISO 400 with a 70-300mm lens 750/sec f9
