Every Saturday, I am at my sister's home. I walk all over the property to see what might stand out for a photo. Things are growing all the time and they never look the same even when viewed often. This particular shot was just there, and I always view through the viewfinder and not the display screen. It gives me better sight to what it may look like. This was nothing spectacular, but thought I'd give it a shot anyway. Still I was not going to use this as it held nothing more than some color. I just got the new Photoshop Elements 10 and decided to experiment with it. This everyday shot then transformed itself into something that goes against what green life is all about. But yet still holds some beauty. Hence the name "Against The Grain". Hope you like it. Fujifilm finepix; 1/75s; f/5.6; ISO 80
