the Great Mormon: no, it is not Mitt Romney and it is not a joke , but really the common name of this butterfly, whose scientific name is: Papilio memnon; a large butterfly (12-15 cm) widely distributed in S.E.Asia, feeding on citrus trees; there are at least 13 subspecies, and the female are highly polymorphic, many of them mimic unpalatable butterflies, to escape predators; it belongs to the swallowtail family; (part of the tail missing in my pic)
