This is a male cardinal. There have been several that have said they have never seen this bird. I live in an area that is loaded with these birds. I see them everyday and it is easy to take their beauty for granted. I live in the state of Kentucky U.S.A. This is the Kentucky state bird. I think it is also the Ohio state bird.
I feed these birds sunflower seed and they love it. It is worth the cost to see these beautiful creatures! Thank God for his Glory!
