There are not many creatures as magnificent as Wild Horses. If you ever have seen them roaming free, you will never forget.
I used several photos taken in 2003 near Laramie as reverence, but the picture is entirely painted on blank digital canvas. I was thinking of posting the picture into the Landscape contest, but decided against it, since there is more horse than landscape in it. It is a horse I found most magnificent, and yes he did have those patches of amazing color and long hair all over.

This picture is dedicated to all my friends who love horses so very much. It was painted in ArtRage on basic digital Canvas using my favorite tools, a number of oil brushes and the palette knife which I move with my fingers on the mouse pad of my laptop.

I do not know what it is, but the resizing wont work well on this on. Resized with ArtRange it ends up loosing detail at the post, resized with Batch Converter it sparkles somewhat. The original shows non of it. Does anyone has an explanation?
