Happy Valentine Contest Entry
It is the time again, where we send love letters and greeting cards to each other. It should be a reminder to see each other more through the eyes of love, not only on Valentine; but all year around.
Now go and kiss your sweetheart and have the most beautiful Valentines Day.
The Digital Composition started out on a blank, black tinted, digital canvas. The text were added, the text layer melted with the background and treaded with filters. The eye is a photo clip from my ClickArt program. It was converted to black and white. The green color was painted into the iris. The couple was extracted from one of my paintings, exchanged to silhouettes and filed with colors, than added as layer to the eye. Those layers were melted also. The eye collage was added as a layer to the canvas. Parts of this layer were eliminated; others were treated with transparent brushes between 35 and 85 percent. The flower was extracted from one of my photo and exchanged with the distortion brush, than added as another layer to the canvas. The yellow ornament was crafted from the same flower. It symbolizes swans [the symbol of love]; as also a flying Pegasus and its mirror image. I hope I did not forget to mention any of the working steps; but I probably did.
