Mount Lofty Botanical Gardens is about 15 minutes drive from Adelaide and in the foothills. Went with my daugther today to try and get some Autumn photographs but the colours weren't changing just yet and wandered around taking various flowers. On the plains the sun was shining and a bright 25C but that short distance away and the wind was blowing and a much cooler cloudy place. These blue/grey ball head flowers were blowing in the wind on the side of the hills. Like the shape and texture of the flowerheads and the unusual colouring.
